Hostel Facility

The hostels have self-contained 2 seater room with attached toilets. The students are provided With basic amenities like bed, table, chair, small cupboard and all other usual fittings like ceiling fan. We have an unique facility of separate telephone connection it each room to receive calls. the parents can have a direct access to their wards. The rooms are spacious, airy, illuminated and the buildings are surrounded by landscape With greenery. The water supply is available for 24 hours, recreation hall with facilities of games such as carom, tab tennis, etc. is available for the good use of their leisure time. One TV. Set per block of the hostel has been provide daily newspaper and some periodicals are also made available in the common room

The Central library is central resource for current academic information and scientific literature of high quality
The collections are focused on the University's main areas of competence, i.e. Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing.

Computer Facility

College has well equipped Computer laboratory with Internet facilities for the students to learn application of computers in health care.

College provides conveyance facilities by college buses for clinical training/College .College has its own fleet of buses. It punctually brings students from different corners of the city to College..

Medical Facility

A Medical Clinic with a qualified doctor is available for twenty-four hours. Indira Gandhi Institute of Nursing has made arrangements with reputed hospitals for the inpatient services to be provided to the hostel inmates. Facilities for medical check –up, consultation, diagnostic OPD facility are available in Govt. Hospital. The expenses of private hospital special medical test, treatments for chronic diseases and hospitalization have to be met by the student concerned.

Clinical Facility

Students are offered practical experience in nursing at many well reputed hospitals in the city and rural experience at Primary Health Center.

Personality Development

To enable the students of Indira Gandhi Institute of Nursing to be at par with the ever changing world, various personality development programmes are organized in the campus at regular interval, it includes lectures from experts in different field, various inter group and intera group competitions like - Debates, Extempore, Best out of Waste, Group Discussions, Brain Storming Sessions and Panel Discussions. Everyday one hour is totally devoted for the personality development.
